All our Reformer models have the 5-spring system: 2x red springs (heaviest resistance), 2x blue springs (medium resistance) and 1x yellow spring (light resistance). These spring resistance levels, combined with the extra springboard positions, provide a tremendous amount of progression possibilities throughout your Pilates practice.
As Reformer springs and traditional weights aren't like, we can't measure them the same. However, we do find helpful that the ratings of our springs under tension of 30cm are the equivalent of the below.
Red (Heaviest) = 12.2kg
Blue (Half) = 6.6kg
Yellow (Lightest)= 4.1kg
